Pickup from Kolkata
Start your journey from Kolkata at 5:00 AM. Pickup can be arranged from a convenient location according to the tourist’s stay or preferred pickup point in Kolkata. Enjoy a comfortable drive towards Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans. The journey takes approximately 3–3.5 hours, with a short tea break on the way.
Start of Sundarban Boat Safari
Reach Godkhali and board the boat to begin your exciting journey into the Sundarbans mangrove forest and delta region.
Cruise through the beautiful rivers and narrow mangrove creeks while looking for the incredible wildlife of the Sundarbans, including:
- 🐊 Saltwater Crocodiles
- 🦌 Spotted Deer
- 🦎 Water Monitor Lizards
- 🐦 Different species of birds
- 🐅 Royal Bengal Tiger, if you are lucky
During the safari, you will visit three popular watchtowers:
Sajnekhali Watch Tower · Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower · Dobanki Watch Tower
Breakfast and lunch will be prepared and served on the boat, allowing you to enjoy your meals while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sundarbans.
End of Jungle Safari
After an exciting day of exploring the mangrove forest, rivers, creeks, and wildlife areas, the Sundarban jungle safari comes to an end. Return to Godkhali and begin your journey back to Kolkata.
